Red Seal Homes To Debut Magnificent Luxury Neighborhood In Deer Park
Beautifully Styled Townhomes And Single-Family Homes At Deer Park Estates To Feature English Arts And Crafts Motif In Enclave Setting
Deer Park, IL - (February 23, 2006) - Red Seal Homes of Northbrook has announced the preview of its newest luxury new home community, Deer Park Estates in north suburban Deer Park, close to Barrington. Conveniently located at the corner of Long Grove Road and Quentin just west of Rte. 12, Deer Park Estates will feature 61 luxury two-story townhomes and 11 spacious single-family homes nestled in a private enclave with lush landscaping; quiet streets; a bike path and a large pond. The community is forecast to open for pre-construction sales in March, with the first deliveries in early 2007.
“Deer Park Estates continues Red Seal’s tradition of creating intimate neighborhoods with homes that exude stunning architectural style and a complete array of deluxe included amenities,” said Todd Fishbein, president and CEO of Red Seal Development Corporation. “At this new community, we have chosen an English arts and
crafts motif for the homes, which gives them a beautiful appearance. We are confident that the architecture at Deer Park Estates will resonate strongly with buyers in this price category.”
Located at the southeast corner of Quentin and Long Grove Road in Deer Park, close to Barrington and Lake Zurich, Deer Park Estates covers over 14-acres and is adjacent to natural wetlands. The community is convenient to the Deer Park Town Center, which features over 60 stores and restaurants plus a 16-screen movie theater. Stores include Ann Taylor, Coldwater Creek and J. Crew, with dining options ranging from Panera Bread and California Pizza Kitchen to Max & Erma’s and La Hacienda.
Red Seal has designed a neighborhood land plan that includes gently curved streets with court-style turnarounds; a 10’ wide biking path along two sides of the community; generous spacing between each group of homes and a large water feature, making the ambiance at Deer Park Estates one of tranquil beauty and peaceful relaxation. The neighborhood has only one entryway, which eliminates any cut-through traffic, adding to the quiet nature of the plan.
The townhomes at Deer Park Estates will range from 1,891 to 2,781 square feet in size, with three plans that feature a first floor master suite. Each townhome will feature two to three bedrooms; 2-1/2 baths; luxury master suite with private bath and one or more walk-in closets; basement and attached two-car garages. English and walkout basements are available on select sites. Projected pre-construction pricing is in the low to mid $400s. Pricing is preliminary and is subject to change.
There are two single-family floor plans at Deer Park Estates, one of which includes a first floor master suite. The plans are sized at 2,201 and 3,075 square feet and will be large three to four bedroom, 2-1/2 bath homes with formal living and dining rooms; large family rooms open the kitchens and breakfast areas; dens; generously sized secondary bedrooms and luxury master suites with private baths and walk-in closets. Basements and two-car attached garages are also included, with walkout and lookout basement options available, per site selection. Projected pre-construction pricing is in the mid $500s. Pricing is preliminary and is subject to change.
“What makes the designs at Deer Park Estates really stand out is their stunning exterior detailing. To be faithful to the English arts and crafts style, we have created front elevations that include cedar shake siding with field stone bases, accented by turrets, bay windows and beautiful custom wood garage doors with windows that resemble the doors of a carriage house,” Fishbein said.
Additional architectural details of both the townhomes and single-family homes at Deer Park Estates are steeply sloped rooflines with curved eaves and architectural slate-look shingles; dormers and arched openings; decorative metal-framed balconies; covered front entryways and rusticated stone chimneys.
Standard included features of the homes at Deer Park Estates highlight a host of high-line amenities. The foyers; kitchens; breakfast rooms and powder rooms in both the townhomes and single-family homes feature a choice of hardwood or ceramic tile flooring. All bath and utility floors include 12” x 12” ceramic tile.
Additional interior items include a choice of painted six-panel or flush doors with lever hardware; designer lighting fixtures; Berber or plush wall-to-wall carpeting and abundant closet space with vinyl clad shelving. Fireplaces are available in the family rooms or living rooms, per plan.
Each kitchen includes granite countertops with 4” high backsplash in a selection of decorator colors. 42” Merillat cabinets, large pantries and Kohler plumbing fixtures including a stainless steel undermount sink with designer faucet are featured. The deluxe stainless steel appliance package includes a GE refrigerator with cold-water dispenser; 30” self-cleaning range; microwave oven with vented hood; multi-cycle dishwasher and ½ horsepower garbage disposal.
Red Seal has designed each bath of the homes at Deer Park Estates to pamper its owners. The master baths include a 5’ soaking tub and separate shower (per plan); ceramic tile shower walls; double bowl white Corian vanity tops with Kohler undermount sinks and furniture quality vanities; ceramic tile floors and Kohler fixtures.
The hall baths and powder room are similarly equipped, with Kohler plumbing fixtures; decorator lighting; single-bowl Corian vanity tops with undermount sinks in the hall bath and a pedestal sink in the powder room.
“We’re looking forward to the opening of Deer Park Estates and interested parties can sign up on our VIP interest list to be the first to receive more information about this magnificent community and the exact date we will be open for pre-sales,” said Fishbein.
