Buyer Looking Forward To Maintenance-Free Luxury At
The Enclave At Quentin Pointe
New Red Seal Condominium Close to Downtown Palatine Thrills Buyer
With Long List of Exceptional Features
Palatine, IL - (April 8, 2005) - Margaret Kukula is no stranger to new construction. That’s because this active semi-retired woman has purchased four new homes over the past 20 years, but her most recent purchase at Red Seal Development’s Enclave at Quentin Pointe condominium already ranks as her best experience. Quentin Pointe has been a success right out of the box since its debut in mid-February. Already half sold, this 42-unit luxury condominium has dazzled buyers with a deluxe list of included features and a location that combines a beautiful natural setting with walk-to- downtown convenience.
Margaret currently lives in a condominium in downtown Palatine but realized that after three years in her home, she could use more space. Since she works at a nearby community college and enjoys Palatine’s revitalized downtown business district, she hoped to find a new, larger maintenance-free home close by. As luck would have it, she spotted an ad announcing the opening of Quentin Pointe.
“The day after the grand opening at Quentin Pointe, I decided to stop in and have a look around. I was very impressed with the standard amenities that Red Seal was including with the condominiums at this community. Because of my experience with new construction, I knew that their standard items are usually options with other developers,” Margaret said. “I had such a good feeling about what I saw at Quentin Pointe, I made my decision to move there the same day.”
The Enclave at Quentin Pointe is a classically styled four story brick condominium featuring limestone accents, arched topped windows and engaging architectural details, located at the corner of Quentin and Palatine Roads in Palatine.
Red Seal offers nine different floor plans at the community, with each home including one or two indoor heated parking spaces. Each home is a one or two bedroom design ranging in size from 1,117 up to 1,782 square feet. Prices start at $229,900 and range up to $403,900. Monthly assessments begin at $179.
The homes feature one, 1-1/2 or two full baths; eat-in kitchens; large great rooms; dens (per plan); luxury master suites with walk-in closets and private baths (per plan) and in-home laundry facilities with storage. Private balconies and individual gas forced air heating and central air conditioning are also included.
Red Seal is scheduling the first deliveries at Quentin Pointe for the summer of 2006, when Margaret will be among the first residents to move into the building.
“I wanted a slightly larger floor plan than what I have now. I still only needed one bedroom and the layout of the Amberley model was ideal. This home has a very spacious master suite which will provide a wonderful retreat for me,” said Margaret. “The Amberley was exactly what I wanted to find. The openness of the layout and its overall spaciousness and detailed features really appealed to me.”
The Amberley is a one bedroom, one bath home that measures from 1,117 to 1,156 square feet, depending on location. This home’s layout features a large combination living and dining room that is open to the kitchen, for the ultimate in entertaining or easy conversation with friends and family.
The kitchen features a center island with breakfast bar plus a large pantry. The private balcony is accessed from the living room through sliding glass doors and allows plenty of natural light to fill the main living area. Margaret is looking forward to having lunch on her balcony and just relaxing on a warm summer’s day.
The Amberley also has a cozy den just off the foyer, which Margaret has specified with a French door entry, to create an elegant look for this room. Margaret will be using her den as a home office and fitness room. “Even though I have my own exercise equipment, having an exercise room located in the building is a nice feature, as fitness is key to me as I get older,” she said.
The Amberley also has a laundry closet for a full size washer and dryer and a large master suite with a walk-in closet. The full bath is located directly across the entry to the master bedroom and features a dual bowl vanity, separate tub and shower.
“Another thing I liked right away about Quentin Pointe, aside from being less than a mile from downtown Palatine, is the peaceful surroundings of the building and the reduced density compared to where I live now,” Margaret said. “I will be able to enjoy lots of green space when I’m at home. I am also looking forward to my walks downtown and to the Metra station, so I can easily visit Chicago and the activities I enjoy there, like the Art Institute.”
The outstanding location Red Seal selected for Quentin Pointe offers quiet views of the park-like surroundings, with many of the homes overlooking the tranquility of the Margreth Reimer Reservoir, which also features a walking path and open park space, as part of the Palatine Park District.
Margaret is thrilled with the standard features that come with her Quentin Pointe condominium, which includes deluxe kitchen appointments and a choice of hardwood or ceramic tile floors in the kitchen, breakfast area and foyer.
Every Quentin Pointe condominium showcases granite countertops with 4” high backsplash and a Kohler undermount stainless steel sink with Kohler brushed nickel faucet. The 42” furniture quality Merrillat cabinetry is highlighted with a sleek GE stainless steel appliance package that includes a refrigerator with water dispenser; microwave oven/hood vent combo; 30” self-cleaning range; multicycle dishwasher and ½ horsepower garbage disposal.
The baths at Quentin Pointe feature 12” x 12” ceramic tile floors, five or six foot whirlpool tub in each master bath (per plan), along with large walk-in showers with seats, both with ceramic tile surrounds. Brushed chrome Kohler faucets and a Toto water closet with elongated bowl are also featured. The vanity tops are solid surface Corian with integral bowls topping quality kitchen-height Merrillat vanities.
But it was more than just the extremely well equipped homes at Quentin Pointe that Margaret is excited about. She feels that her experience with Red Seal has been one of comfort and confidence, backed by a company that has demonstrated to her its well organized and well planned approach to building a luxury condominium.
“I have had no hidden surprises with Red Seal. I received in-depth, detailed information a short time after I purchased my home and feel very comfortable knowing exactly what I bought with over a year before delivery,” Margaret said. “The sales staff has been very knowledgeable and have answered all my questions promptly.”
Even though this is the fourth new home she has purchased, Margaret is looking forward with great anticipation to her appointment in June at Red Seal’s corporate office to sit down with their design consultant and select the colors and finishes for her new Amberley model condominium.
“Everything about Red Seal is a step above. They have such an excellent reputation and I feel great about my decision to move to Quentin Pointe. This community is ideally suited to my lifestyle,” Margaret said.
